toucan-II 3D framed perspex art

  • This finely detailed bird art print features a pair of yellow-ridged toucans, Ramphastos vitellinus culminatus, originally described as the Culminated toucan, native to tropical Central and of South America. Originally illustrated by John Gould in the early 19th century, and very similar to Cuvier's toucan, but the upper mandible and ridge to its bill are yellow. Mounted at the front of an innovative, deep, backless box frame, the perspex print generates stunning shadowcasting and 3D depth, whilst the raw timber lends a contemporary, organic finish.
