Founded in 2006

Signarture was founded in 2006 by creative director Sarah Leslie - an award winning artist multi-disciplinary designer and innovator, on a mission to make bespoke contemporary artworks accessible.

Twenty years ago, both design professionals and the general public faced similar issues when looking to buy artworks for their projects our their homes. If they didn't want a mass producted print, they were limited to the artworks available in local galleries, which were rarely the perfect fit for the space. Meanwhile comissioning artworks was expensive and carried the risk of not turning out exactly as hoped for. Signarture was in the vanguard of selling artworks online. Moreover, our approach opened up a world of new possibilities and enabled more people to give expression to their personal style at home, and for design professionals to create unique pieces for their projects.

The journey so far...

Since debuting at Art Sydney, now Sydney Contemporary, in 2006, we've gone a long way to delivering on our mission. Our innovative use of Perspex as a medium to create dynamic, 3D artworks saw Signarture nominated for DesignEX new product awards on launch. Our focus on the delivery of truly personalised product and customer experience has seen Signarture awarded Best of Houzz for twelve successive years. Our clients now include property developers, architects, designers and design-savvy homeowners all over the world.
